Gerald Pitts, President and Founder of  Rodeos West Motion Pictures, Inc. is an  Oregonian.  His  passion  about   the  OLD
WEST  as it was, how its changed, and keeping The American Cowboy alive in the minds of us all has been his dream since childhood. The Oldest of three children, he grew up with the old fashioned values of the 50's. He served his country in the debatable Vietnam War as a National Guardsman. Gerald Pitts, Livestock Auctioneer is a Graduate of  Western College of Auctioneering in Billings Montana and Called the Klamath Falls Cattle Auction in the early 70's. He published Rodeos West Newspaper, a free publication about local rodeos  for well over twenty years. Adding to his long list of accomplishments, Gerald is also a studio portrait photographer and motion picture cinematographer.

   In 1998, DAVID LOGAN who is the son to America's Leading Flying Cowboy Rodeo Announcer, PETE LOGAN Pictured right 
(announced by PAUL HARVEY of ABC NEWS)  introduced Gerald Pitts to the DOORS' Jim Morrison, who mysteriously disappeared in Paris France on July 3, 1971.

  The "DOORS"  JIM MORRISON  showed up at our rodeos in 1997 & 1998 and was discovered living on a ranch raising horses.
